last year, we hosted our first official concert series… it was awesome. the community fostered then has opened doors for all involved and we can’t wait to do it again.

where is it?

our stage is an elevated concrete patio at the backend of the mess’ backyard, located in the near north neighborhood of Minneapolis.

when can i expect to hear back?

we process each submission as quickly as we can. with shows beginning in may, we are aiming to have bills built by mid-april. you should receive a confirmation of your submission within 1 week of entry.

what do i need to bring?

for starters, probably a chair for when your set is over. we’re a house show venue - not a chair company! other than that, whatever you need for your set. the mess has a PA system, extra cables, couple mics + mic stands, amps, and a house guitar + bass.

is it paid?

the shows hosted @ the mess will be ticketed and after expenses have been paid (permits, photo/video, supplies, etc.), any leftover revenue will be split amongst acts. regardless, we will have a tip jar out for each act and the tips to do not go towards operating expenses.
